This very rare antique Flow Blue open vegetable Pedestal Bowl , made by Wedgwood and Co. Wedgwood & Co, Unicorn Pottery and Pinnox Works, Tunstall.
Stoke-on-Trent, operated by Enoch Wedgwood (a distant relation of Josiah Wedgwood I) and his younger brother Jabez. The bowl has the deep Flow blue flowers on a white base and laced rims. The colors still are bright and vibrant. The bowl is 11" by 8 1/2" at the rim and 3 high.
It has nice blue flowers. It is marked with impressed Wedgwood and Co - standard name-mark used alone or incorporated in printed marks that date the bowl between 1890 - 1906. The bowl is free of chips, cracks or crazing.
Amazing condition for a piece that is 120 years old. I do have more matching pieces of the same pattern. It is a great example of Victorian china and would make a memorable gift. Just imagine your special table set with these beautiful pieces. A party makes an elegant statement when set with antique porcelain.
